In regards to being able to get both the current balance not just the
cleared balance if you are keeping a check register you would not work off
of the balances that the bank has cleared you would work off of the current
amount in the checking account. This would also help in skimming thourgh
mutiple accounts, especially if you did not want to move from a certian line
or column until you had finised what you were doing.
