The balance on the transaction line will incorporate the transaction amount. But if you use the F12 key the transaction amount will not be included until the transaction has been cleared either manually or by reconciling with your bank. ----- Original Message ----- From: Alan R. I entered a debit transaction for May 13, 2010. The balance was adjusted downward immediately, which is how I thought it would work. It appears that once a transaction has been entered, the balance changes immediately, not on some future date. I also tried the same experiment with a deposit. The balance also increased immediately. I will go ahead and put that into Money Talks when I get the notice and enter the date it will be taken out, but between the day I put it in and the day that the money is actually taken out of my account to pay the bill if I check my balance with f11 will the balance I hear be the balance as of the current date or the balance after the future bill has been paid? I hope the way I asked this isn't too confusing. Troy
