Brooks,
Money Talks will be able to do what you want. We have not implemented
check writing yet, but it is coming in a future beta and will be here in
our first product release. the limits on the check size you can use come
from your printer. If your printer can handle a 3" X 5" card, you should
be able to fill in the fields for a wallet-sized check, right out of
your checkbook. You will need sighted assistance the first time to match
up the field locations with those on your check, but after that, if your
printer can get small checks through itself without crumpling them, you
should be OK. We also will support business-sized checks and several
other types.
There are some programs out there that are check printing programs
only. You do need sighted assistance the first time with them also.
Money Talks is also a computerized bank account management program so
you can keep your bank records up-to-date with it too.
