[moneytalks] Re: Removing JAWS

Don:

I think we might have a fix for your JAWS problem; it will be in the next =
beta which isn't quite ready yet. I can't wait to find out if this fixes =
it.

Sorry, Rob, Windows 2000, Service Pack Four, and the sound card is a =3D
sucky Sound Max, on the motherboard I think, which could account for my =
=3D
troubles.

Don:

You forgot to mention your operating system and your sound card brand.

Well, now, when I close MT, if I wait long enough, I can start jaws ok, =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
but get the message that MoneyTalks has generated errors and will be =3D
=3D3D3D
shut down. Evidently, it takes the Sapi speech some time to let go of =3D
=3D3D3D
the sound card. Does that sound plausible?

What were the files. Do you remember?
>>> Don.Barrett@xxxxxx Monday, December 06, 2004 2:50:07 PM >>>
Yes; but let me clarify something. During the install of moneyTalks, =3D
=3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D
there were a few files whose targets were newer than the files replacing =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D
them so I said no to all. Could this be involved in the issue?

Hi Don. That is what we cannot reproduce. Does it work OK on your =3D
=3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D
system =3D3D3D3D3D3D
if Money Talks is not involved?

>>> Don.Barrett@xxxxxx Monday, December 06, 2004 2:27:09 PM >>>
When I put jaws to sleep it works fine when waking up. When I actually =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D3D3D
insert-f4 unload it, reloading it doesn't work after exiting MT. Since =
=3D
=3D3D
=3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D3D3D
putting it to sleep is easy enough, this isn't as big an issue as it =3D
=3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D3D3D
could be, but it would be helpful to know why fully unloading jaws =3D3D3D
=3D3D3D3D3D3D3D
affects its ability to restart.
