I made a similar error when first starting to use money talks a few weeks 
ago. Are you putting a $ sign before the number when you enter the starting 
balance? Thats what I did and got that "please enter a number." You need to 
enter just the number without the $ sign and you should be in good shape. 
The program developers may want to note this in the documentation.

I am just starting to really use Money Talks.  I start out with a problem.

establishing a new account and am in the "accounts properties" area.  I

in all the data requested but, I can't get passed that point.  Whenever I

where?
