Good Day Missouri Lions,
Its Great To Be A Lion. My message is mainly for Lions of MD26-M3,
however, because all of M3 may not be on lionsm3; i''m sharing this with Lions
of molions.. I do say the topical is informational for all Lions.
By attending your cabinet or council meeting you have VOICE. At the
cabinet ?meetings you get to be apart of the discussions and decisions being
made that effect you and your club. As an example there certain changes to the
Lions Clubs International Constitution- By-Laws. These changes affects your
Multiple District 26 and changes to your District M3. LCI said and approved at
th. July 2016 International Convention. The changes should have been made to
the respective District Constitutions and By-laws they are no longer just
"guidelines" REQUIRE procedures for all election held under auspices of LCI.
Look forward to seeing you on March 25, 2017 where you will exercise
that VOICE TO VOTE for your new incoming Governor, 1st VDG, AND 2nd VDG.One of
the NEW requirements is the Lions of the district get to vote for or against a
site for the next District Convention the 2018.
Fellow Lions I encourage all of you to attend the next Cabinet meeting in May
13, 2017 in Hannibal . Of course, you will have another opportunity to USE
Your VOICE by attend the State Convention in Osage Beach, TAN TAR-A. RESORT on
May 4-7, 2018.
LIONS OF MISSOURI YOUR VOICE IS VITAL NOT ONLY TO THE HEALTH OF OUR RESPECTIVE
DISTRICTS BUT THE HEALTH MULTIPLE. DISTRICT 26 AS WELL.Again, LIONS YOU are
needed.
