[moinfinitecampus] CheckIn/CheckOut issue

Good Morning!
We have recently discovered (still pretty new here) that there is a bug with 
the CheckIn/CheckOut feature.  I'm sure most of you know but if a student 
leaves and comes back in the same day it overwrites the previous comment.  
We've found that to be a problem (that combined with the whole extra lunch 
deduction problem) since it wipes out the previous record and other than a 
piece of paper we have no "formal" record in the system for when that student 
arrives/leaves unless we manually edit each student.
 
We recently put in a ticket for this and were told that it was a known issue 
but that there was no ETA on when it would be fixed.  She also mentioned that 
"One of the things that assist Infinite Campus is determining the priority of a 
bug fix is the number of customer reporting the issue."  
 
Just wanted to pass this along to any other district that might be experiencing 
the same level of confusion with their attendance clerks and would like to see 
it get fixed.

How are the rest of you dealing with this situation?  Manually changing each 
student??
How about the lunch thing?  Are you going back in to EVERY student and putting 
that time back in too???
