Wilfried,
Thanks for the info on the beam engine. Is it supposed to be for a boat
with side wheels? From the looks of the flanges on the crankshaft, it would
appear to have been its original usage. Maybe the beam(s) was/were down
there due to overhead clearance? Yes, I do like the really old stuff and am
sending you a photo of the model I made of the Bridewell engine a couple of
years ago. I am sending it directly to your email addy since we can't send
attachments on the freelists.org.
