[modeleng] Re: pleasant sales staff...

Hi Patrick

Thanks for the warning!

Reverting to your problem of locating materials in your homeland. Could
you not have them posted to you from the UK?

I get most of my stuff from the ever-helpful Howard Profitt at College
Engineering, posted to me from Wolverhampton - quite a long way from St
Albans - I note that he sends materials to other countries, and it is
possible that the postage across the Channel will not be much more than the
local cost. If he does not stock your requirement, he would be happy to
suggest a source.
His telephone number from abroad is 0044 1902 842 284 and his web site is
www.collegeengineering.co.uk, where there is a complete catalogue. A
printed version is also available.

I hasten to add that I have no connection with his company, other than being
a very satisfied customer.

Groete!

Cheers! Hubert
