Hi,
I am new to model engineering and have a question re boilers. Is there any
problem building a working steam boiler for a 2" or 3" scale traction engine
completely from Aluminium. I have a good supply of all sizes for very little
money. I am hoping to build the complete model almost entirely from ali and not
paint it. Not using prototype just building from scratch. I can solder and weld
ali so the joints are not a problem. Ali can withstand high pressures so is
there any problen doing it and getting a boiler test certificate? All help and
comments gratefully received
Julian Harrison.
