Yeah Charles,

It's obvious you been reading too much Mark Twain.  He mentioned that
fact/myth in "The Innocents Abroad".  Made some quip about the need to keep
a few royal mummies on hand in the tenders as they gave off better grades of
steam than the plebeians did and so were better suited when pulling a steep
grade!.  I read somewhere, some time that a lot of the mummies were imported
to England be ground up for fertilizer.

I did make a post to the Chaski list about using corn as fuel, but Friday
nights are pretty slim since everyone is apparently out spending their pay
checks at the pubs or houses of ill repute!
