[modeleng] Re: mig welder

Hi,

I bet that they dont mean "turn the feed backwards" but turn the drive
roller round. Most cheap Mig Welders seem to have a drive roller with two
groves. One .9mm for Fluxed wire ( Gasless ) and one .6 mm for ordinary
wire. You may need to change to .6mm nozzle as well if you change it to gas.
Can you convert it to a Gas welder? . I started off with a Machine Mart
Gasless and made a point of buying the conversion bits at the same time.
After welding Gasless for some time once I converted to gas I have never
gone back.

Regards

Clif
