[modeleng] Re: linisher belts

Naw Al,

Just use a "Clipper" belt lacer, you know, one of them things that has all
those little steel staples. One would just have to get the rhythm of the
splice and raise the workpiece up every time the lacing zipped by. Whap,
whap, whap, Blam, Dang where did it go!!!! LOL

yeah, something of that nature...there is a wealth of receipts for belt
cements, one of them has to work.
I have some in a booklet, if you want me to look for them(John), let me
 know...

"Hide Glue" in other words? I would think that
"Elmer's Glue" would do a decent job-----it has been
holding the joint on the flat leather drive belt on my
lathe since 1993.
