[modeleng] Re: important download

Charles,
No, I didn't do it myself, this came from the internet archive (the link
is on my site as well!)
http://steammechanic.googlepages.com/home
I have in the past collected many pdf files from a variety of sources,
and I will try and find a way to offer them for download.
The files might be offered by Alan Stepeny in the future,as he will have
an ISP, that will allow him ample room and bandwidth.
And we have been talking about this.
My site can't be more then a 100 megs, so I can't offer them all, as
some books are bigger then that by themselves.

I am looking at webspace, that could be used to upload them, so bear
with me on this!
I could link the files from the site to the Internet archive, but I am
not really sure whether I am allowed to do this,
and besides that, the links go dead pretty fast, as they rearrange their
files quit often.
I have to date, a complete archive bigger then 5 Giga byte of copyright
free books on machining, steam, trains, some on woodwork, even some on
model engineering proper and the like.
We will find a way of getting these files to you all!

Cheers
Patrick
