There are one or two out there for auction. Given what Smiths has gone
through it might be hard to track down the "manufacturer", but you might
get some joy from a calibration service somewhere - not that you necessarily
want to calibrate this one, but a company that might calilbrate one could
well have documentation - or at least some answers. Someonw like
