[modeleng] Re: flat belt grip

TEL,

Let'see, 200 litre drums, isn't Rum made from molasses? Just curious as to
why yer need so much and trying to relieve some of the allegations made
about what my Newbie Project boiler is used for between train meets.

Oh, don't try to con us into believing yer are mixing them molasses wid
cattle feed.

The traditional flat belt dressing is molasses, go into any old shearing
shed around these parts and, under the built up layers of dust, the top of
the woodwork on pens etc will reveal a layer, quite thick at times, of
molasses residue (the stuff 'strings' and floats about a bit. Quite often
you will come across the old open topped molasses tin and the stick used to
apply it tucked away in a corner somewhere.

I buy molasses in 200 litre drums (not for that purpose tho')
