Hi there Alan,
When you say planning application - it would be interesting to know what
the planning application was about if you're happy to expand a bit on
your original e-mail. Did they need a planning application
for a commercial 7.25" gauge railway, or was the issue the buildings
associated with it, or was it change of use from retail to funfair 'type
issue'?
On a slightly seperarate note - I see that one of the smaller locomotives
from the Dobswall line was up for sale a while back on
www.stationroadsteam.co.uk - the blue Curwen locomotive detailed here...
