Sorry, I should have said Clif not Roger.
Is my interpretation of the principle correct, what happened when someone  
coming up met someone going down, the refuges on the mine shaft walls must have 
 
been big enough to hold several miners, and what about the tin ore, were they 
 carrying that as well?
It all seems very dangerous to me.
