[modeleng] Re: Your main interests

John, I just selected "plain text" so we will see what happens now. Thanks for
the tip.

FYI: I am still making parts for the Ugly Loco 7-1/2 in. gauge. I wish I had
chosen a smaller scale/gauge at the beginning as this darn thing is getting
HEAVY!!

Al,

I think those strings of charcters are HTML "objects". It looks like
your
email is composed in html rather than plain text, and the board isn't
stripping the characters off.

Have you changed anything lately?

Alan,

Since Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll have faded somewhat I'm down to Steam
Locomotives and Model Aircraft.

>I am trying to get an idea on which are the most popular modeling
>activities
> among members of this list.
>
> Could I ask everyone, or anyone, to list their favourite activity
/
> activities, please.
> Together with any comments.
> 1. Trains
> 2. Road vehicles
> 3. Stationary engines
> 4. Workshop machinery / tooling
> 5. Other.
