Bede,
Only one way to cure the problem and that is to press out the bushings and
make or have someone make for you, some new ones. The side rod bushings are
the most important of course since they must fit closely, unlike the main
rod bushings which can be "loose as a goose" and the engine still operate
albeit with a bit of a knock.
