[modeleng] Re: What will happen to your equipment?

As one of my dreaded asides, it is not so long ago that I was talking to a 
specialist hifi repairer (I still use open reel tape decks by the way), and 
another customer of his flew across to America to collect a new set of 
valves from the airport - never leaving it - as even with the return air 
fair he was about £3,000 - £4,000 in pocket, so I make no wonder that your 
valves are now worth more than they cost new! They used to make smashing 
targets for a little informal target practise with the air rifles too ...
