Guys,
If you want to make a small steam turbine, try one of Mr Tesla's "boundary
effect bladeless disk turbines". Constructionally they are much easier
than conventional turbines. I've seen small ones driving a DC motor as a
generator for a few watts of illumination. That particular one ran on
compressed air but steam's supposed to work too.
