Hewitson, in his book on Locomotive Boiler Explosions, suggests that a 
steel boiler for 200lbs/sq in should be 5/8 or 11/16th of inch thick. This 
allows for the decrease in strength when hot as well as for corrosion. 
There is also a safety factor of about 6.
These figures aren't a million miles away from Harry's numbers if you 
change them pro rata for 100lbs/sq in.
