Easy to get into a misunderstanding with email. I should add that I am familiar
with the multitude of diodes and their various purposes. However only the one
in your pictures shaped like a tophat and with a pigtail could remotely be
considered for a 50 to 100 amp purpose.
Got to have a heat sink.
The others are all for relatively light duty or specialist purposes. I'm
including even 3 amp rectifiers in that category. It is not just a question of
old and new.
