Mike,
I do agree with you but had verbal, albeit not written, confirmation that it 
was accurate before posting the inital message.
As we have seen from the letter that Julia posted on the Kitbuilder site 
(link provided by Rich), the ex-staff are stating that position, so it seems 
that it is true.

publishes worldwide such information without confirmation.

If untrue such an email could cause untold damage to the company and
tip the scales if it is going through a period of difficult trading.
