Not to mention "and wiser"
For those who paid by credit card for all kits delivered a claim against the
credit card company should work. One of our members at IDSME had bought the
Evening Star and claimed against Barclaycard. He got all his money back
after delivering boxes of parts, and the part built loco, to the local
branch of Barclays.

PS I was one of the lucky ones with Winson as my last kit was delivered
about two months before the company went to the wall.

... and in fairness there is no news about this yet at Companies House.
Possibly the (ex)-Modelworks employees have moved too fast on this one.
By way of historical record when Winson went belly up 7 or so years ago I
was able to help a number of people get money back (I charged nothing and
had no financial reward from it; it actually cost me to help). Should
Modelworks have gone into administration I may be able to give some guidance
foc but I'm a fair bit busier now than then not to mention 7 years older.
