[modeleng] Re: The demise of Modelworks?

I haven't heard this, but it would not surprise me. The idea has always
been good but the method of designing and supplying the kits has been
poor to say the least. I get the impression that quality control has
been virtually non existent and the idea that you can design a model on
paper and then supply the kits without building a prototype first to
prove the design is somewhat naive or perhaps even arrogant. I think
their demise has been a foregone conclusion for a long time. As you
suggest Alan, you have to feel sorry for the unfortunate customers.
