Hi Kenny,

I have been following your thread about the Trio rig and your plans
for it.

You ask for information as to where to go for information. My
first thought is it would be a good idea to join the Radio Society of
Great Britain (RSGB): http://www.rsgb.org/ They have a good range of
books, several of which deal with antennas. The books are available
to non-members, but there is a discount for members.

A simple and an effective antenna is the simple dipole. This can
be made from a piece of wire and a bit of co-ax.

I took the advantage when the weather was good last week to repair
my dipoles that go over the roof of the bungalow.

I hope you enjoy amateur radio as a hobby - I have enjoyed many
years on various bands.

       Cheers,

Roger Mason, G3TDM, in St. Agnes.
