[modeleng] Re: TIG welded copper boilers

Dave,
Having seen the new copper firebox when I was up there, I would think the 
price of that would dig a big hole in most peoples finances, let alone 
silver solder!.

Renenber, the Severn Valley cut and weld patches in on fireboxes, a process
well worth seeing. I think silver soldering 12" to the ft scale boilers is
probably verboten, I dare say due to the amount of silver solder needed,
cost a fortune!!
