[modeleng] Re: TIG Welded copper boilers from Maxitrack


I TIG welded a boiler for the ME roller sometime before 1974.  The boiler was 
never completed as I decided to build something bigger.  I still have the 
boiler shell (you never know), but last time I moved home in 1990, I noted that 
the welds had in fact cracked.  In those days I was quite a good welder.  So 
personally, I would be wary.  I know it says 30 year warranty but a lot of 
these type of companies have lasted that long.
