One method is to fix the tanks to the running plate and then a strap between
the two tanks on the top as per 12" gauge locos.

Subject: [modeleng] Sweet Pea /Metre Maid
Dear All,
We are about to commence to build a Sweet Pea / Metre Maid. We purchased the
drawings via Black Gates Engineering (usual disclaimer) we thank for their
fast service and delivery. Does someone know who is the builder of AMY, one
of the Metre Maid ? I got a picture taken during one of the Sweet Pea Rally
but do not know the year and the lucky builder. I am interested by the
rectangular side tanks, the sizes and how to mount them on the
chassis/boiler.
If someone can help.......
Many thanks ans happy steaming
