Tim Hi,
If you try with some WD40 and some heat from a hairdryer working it in both
directions,do you have any access to any freezer spray i have found that
sometimes that works,if the two parts were of differing metals you might be
able to try heat on one and cold on the other.
you might if it has picked up try drilling some very small holes from the outer
ring to just touch the inner thread.
Fine threads if they distort are sometimes very hard to separate.
