[modeleng] Steam Powered Nursery/Garden Centre?

    Included in the recent Fred Dibnah programme was a visit to a nursery that 
was run entirely on steam power, they even generated their own electricity. 
They had a number of steam engines in daily use, and more being preserved.
    The only clue I have to the whereabouts of this place is that whilst Fred 
was staying at Alton Hall (?) near Wirksworth in Derbyshire, it was said to be 
"nearby".

    Does anyone know the name and location of this nursery, and is the power 
house ever open to visitors?
