[modeleng] Re: Steam Fittings

Pete,

Something to watch with injectors, is the opperating preasure range (for
that size injector it should be from about 20psi (or lower) through to
120psi (or higher)) and the feed water temp range. Most injector makers
can't tell you (or won't) and those that do, will normally supply it in
either graph format or as tabulated maximum/minimums. They also tend to be a
bit more expensive (arround 35 pounds ea.), but you normally get what you
pay for. These manufactures will normally guarrentee the injector's
operation within the proscibed ranges.
I don't know what your suppliers are like, but I recomend putting the
question to as many as posible, just to find out what is available.

Cheers,

Phill.
