[modeleng] Re: Split pins

If by "split pins" you mean what are called "cotter pins" in NA then they
are formed from half-round stock. I suppose that you could shape the stock
with a belt sander or perhaps wrap the wire around a large mandrel and turn
to make the flat side.

I hate to ask but since commercial ones cost pennies each why do you want to
make them? Do you need them of stainless or...?
