I'd have thought it was the other way around Al - use the gardening to
......... etc.
Personally, while I would like a little hand operated 'Adept' in my
collection, as a practical tool they wouldn't be all that better than other
methods. Even if the motorised shaper is 3 phase it should be pretty simple
to swap the motor for a single phase - that's what I did with the Douglas.
