[modeleng] Re: Seen at Ally Pally, was RE: Re: Steam Boats

I was going to go for flash steam (or possibly water tube) but using a
tesla turbine..... I've a piece of 3/4" wall thickness 9" ally tube
(about a foot of it) that needs a job..... get some stainless 14 gauge
for the sheaf and a bunch of gearing... run it on a self-pressurising
burner that uses veg oil as fuel...... If I built the boat instead then
it'd still be a tesla (I want to build a tesla) but with more gearing,
reversible and with a way of decoupling the paddles from each other so
one could be reversed....
