John,
The obvious first place winner in "toys" is my wonderful Dodge-Cummins
diesel as it is the first thing on the scene. As to the toys in the back, I
finally realized that having five locomotives is not a whole lot of fun
since I must make a choice every time I leave for the track. The little
Falk is pretty well out of the running since it cannot handle the long up
grades at our club track so this leaves the Mich-Cal Shay, RRSC American,
Filer and Stowell and the Newbie Project. Only the Newbie and F&S can be
carried when pulling the 5th wheel caravan so it is always a tossup between
which goes to the fall and spring meets. W/out the trailer, I can carry the
two longer locomotives side by side at the same time if my son goes with me
to run one of them. Next trip, after it cools down summat, I will take the
Shay and American so he can run the Shay while I fire up the American, still
first place always goes to the DODGE.
Jesse in still hot and dry West Tennessee
