[modeleng] Securing models

I had a call from a friend yesterday.

Apparently he was driving to his club, with loco in the back of his estate
car, when he had a minor accident.
Or rather, it would have been minor apart from the engine.

Being unsecured, some 150lbs of steel and copper kept going when the car
stopped, almost demolishing the passenger seat, (fortunately empty) then
fell over, breaking his wrist, and doing other assorted harm to the car.

Luckily he is not otherwise injured, but the car is worse than from the
actual accident, he has doubts that the insurance will cover that extra
damage, and his loco is "a real mess" (his words).

How does everyone secure their engines in the back of vehicles, or if you
dont, perhaps it might be worth considering.
