Jem, A little thing that I leanrt along the way regarding misbehaving mt's.
Wrap a pice of cigarette pare aropund the taper then insert. The thing paper
takes up the slack and stop[s the taper turning and jamming in the hole.

Maybe not Kosha but it can get you out of trouble,
