Ok Peter,
Why not try Q type relays? Give me a list of what you need etc and I will
see what prices etc I can find. Any doubts, have a word with Quackers, AKA,
Mike Hanscombe, just mention Beaman and Fred!
Seriously, the signalling on the gauge one railway on the Bekonscot railway
box is all QTypes, great relays, outlast us all here... well almost.
If you are interested, contact me off line... Follow up an earlier line
too!!!
Dave.

Subject: [modeleng] Relays
It's time to add a rudimentary signalling system to the LM&WR. I have most
of what I need, except relays.
I was planning to use a company in Leicester (Mainline Surplus) who had
done a very good deal on 24v dc 4PCO relays at around £1.50 each.
Unfortunately they have suffered a major fire and all their stock was
destroyed!
Therefore I am looking for an reasonably priced, alternative source. I
haven't decided on a voltage yet, so they can be 12v dc ore 24v dc. Minimum
contacts 4 pole changeover (4PCO), plugable with bases.
So far I have tried:
Maplins
RS
JA Crew
Greenweld
Bull Electrical
The nearest I get is JA Crew with 3PCO octals at £3.70 ea including a
base.
Any other suggestions?
Cheers
Peter
