I have just visited a railway museum in Taiwan at Miaoli. In the open
air and free. It seems to occupy land next to the PW workshops! There
were some large main line steam engines, some much smaller shunting
engines a two truck shay as well as a diminuitive railbus, I estimated
it was 4m long had a wheelbase of 2m and was about 1.8m wide.
There was also a railbus - mechanical drive to one bogie and side cranks
on the bogie. I spent about an hour there. When I get back (in about 7
days) I will put some of these pictures on my website.
Cheers from a soggy Taipei
Peter
