Glad to hear the knee surgery went well.
With regard to your idler, be sure to put it on the loose side of the belt
run. Between the motor and the driven pulley or pulleys the motor will pull
the belt in tightly. Don't put the idler on one of these tight runs. You
want your idler on one of the slack runs after the last pulley has been
driven and before the motor pulley. This is especially true with a back of
belt idler.
