I was thinking of half-round deep hole drills for
driling 'oles in gunbarrels.
Al Messer
Al,
Gun drills are actually 3/4 round and pretty well have to be made of drill
rod. The beauty of a gun drill is that it seeks the centre of the rotating
barrel and does not wander out the side as is possible with twist drills.
They also drill a smooth and perfectly to size hole.
