Clif,

The Bob Moore pen isn't quite the same as the Uno - it doesn't have the 
little jiggly bit in the middle of the tube. Also the end of the tube is 
ground to a fairly critical shape - if you tell Bob Moore your pen isn't 
working properly and it's done a lot of work he will suggest you return it 
to him for inspection of the end profile and possible reprofiling.
I've used a Bob Moore pen for many lining jobs and it works fine providing 
you follow the rather detailed instructions. One of the "tricks" is to put a 
few drops of lighter fluid into the paint. This appears to reduce the 
surface tension.

Hope the hip recovers well. I know several people who have had this done and 
all have been a remarkable success including one mate who had both done and 
continues his climbing activities - with members of the SAS!
