[modeleng] Re: Pins-striping tool

Clif et al,

The draughting pin I use is a Koh-n-or (badly mis-spelled) and it of course 
has the hollow steel tube like a hypodermic needle, but inside it is a fine 
steel wire.  The wire protrudes from the tube by about .020" and has a 
weight in the ink reservoir. I don't know if the wire is absolutely 
essential or not as I have never tried the pen without it.  If the pen 
"loses its prime", it is only necessary to shake it so the weight and wire 
move back and forth to get the ink flowing again.
