I would think that there are few such patterns remaining although there must 
have been hundreds at one time.
(I am sure the NRM has some.)

Given what it is, the price seems reasonable, although I doubt it has any 
practical use.
Unless, that is, anyone wants to cast some full size wheels.

Evening all,

Just browsing on e-bay, and noticed item 120408226344 (ie if you go to
www.ebay.co.uk and search for this number, the item will come up).

It looks like a pair of wooden patterns for full size wheel centres, which
sound like they are of GWR origin.

They just struck me as slightly curious items - what do others make of
them?

Is it common for such patterns to have survived (if that's what they are)?
