Harry, it is the later design which is still under copyright.

I suggest contacting the new owners, and /or the editor. Or, if you wish, 
send me all the details and I will do so on your behalf.

Also, if he is selling via Ebay, an email to them appraising them of the 
legal position might be worthwhile.

     These are marked MAP (rev. by O. M. Smith) which I assume is the newer
version.  I've basically run across someone who is photocopying MAP
drawings and selling them as orginals (with impunity) and, well, frankly I
think that's wrong and I want to make life difficult for him if I can.  I
have not been harmed, necessarily, it's the principle of the thing.
     I'm not silly enough to believe that Encarta will launch and
international intellectual property rights action over a few copes of the
ME Beam drawings but I think his cage needs rattling.
