It is certainly not in the same league as MSEE but TSME (http://tsme.ca/ )
is celebrating their 75th anniversary this year.
I second Clif's suggestion regarding Amazon. Their "buy it used" service has
very competitive rates and no charge for local shipping of new books if you
exceed their minimum order size. I think that the UK is losing considerable
business due to the excessive shipping costs to overseas purchasers. With
the current exchange rate the cost of many model engineering items is
reasonable but the addition of shipping puts it out of bounds.
