[modeleng] Re: Off topic-AVO

Hi there Andy,

I replaced my 15 volt battery about 15 years ago, and it took a few weeks
to order one in. I recently had to look into replacing it again. Although
I don't think it was true with the original 15V batteries, with the more
recent one, I pealed the label off it and found that it was two plastic
mouldings, inside which were five off 3v batteries of the style that one
puts in watches, calculators and the like.

I would suspect it would be easier to try and get replacement 3V batteries
than the 15V battery if this was also true in your case.

If you look on rswww.com and www.farnell.com you may have some luck, but I
wouldn't get your hopes up too much.

Yours,

Rich.
